In Memorium
Joann I. Klein, long-time TALK Board Member and friend to TALK, died on April 20, 2009, at home in West Chester. Joann was a special education teacher with a passion for helping children with special needs. She learned about our work through the conference TALK held at West Chester University in 2001and was steadfast as we were developing the plan for the establishment of our school. When we opened our doors, she volunteered in the classrooms and helped us with fundraising, always filled with energy and enthusiasm. She loved being with the kids and marveled at their progress. She has been an integral part of TALK, and we will always miss her.
