Our Services

Overview:

In addition to our full-time program, we offer both Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy Services. Our outpatient services are designed for preschool and school-aged children with mild to moderate needs in communication, sensory, and motor development. Our highly trained therapists use research-supported strategies grounded in extensive clinical experience.

Occupational Therapy:

Our occupational therapists partner with children to develop the skills needed for successful participation at home, in school, and in the community. Areas of support include:

  • Fine and gross motor development

  • Balance, strength, and coordination

  • Sensory processing and regulation

  • Executive functioning and attention

  • Functional daily living skills

  • Parent coaching to support carryover at home

Therapists may incorporate a variety of evidence-based methods such as Therasuit, Safe and Sound Protocol, Interactive Metronome, and DIR/Floortime to promote progress and engagement.

Speech Therapy:

Our speech-language pathologists provide individualized, play-based therapeutic services to support:

  • Articulation and motor speech disorders
    (including childhood apraxia of speech)

  • Expressive and receptive language development

  • Social language and pragmatic skills

  • AAC support, including device use and implementation

  • Neurodiversity-affirming intervention

  • Parent coaching to support carryover at home

Each treatment plan is tailored to your child’s unique needs, interests, and strengths to help them grow confident, effective communication skills.

What is the cost for Outpatient Services?

We provide private, self-pay outpatient services and do not accept insurance at this time.

Session Rates

  • 30-minute sessions: $72.50

  • 60-minute sessions: $145

Payment is due at the time of service. Itemized receipts are available for families who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement.

We are happy to accept payment with a credit card, Apple Pay, Venmo (@Talk-School), or cash.

Do you accept insurance as a form of payment?

We do not accept insurance as a form of payment at this time. We will provide you with an itemized list of services for reimbursement to your insurance company.

Where and when do sessions take place?

All of our outpatient therapy services take place at our school on 6 Campus Blvd. Newtown Square, PA 19073.

Sessions are held Monday-Friday beginning at 3:30 pm. Amount of sessions per week and length of sessions are arranged with your therapist based on the support needed for your child, family availability, and therapist availability.
